Rathayatra
Festival of the Chariots

Devotees of Lord Krishna chant and dances in ecstacy 
as Krishna in the form of Jagannatha is pulled along on a  huge rathcart. 
Rathayatra originated hundreds of years ago on India's East coast, 
where millions of pilgrims come to the festival. 
In San Francisco, the celebration takes place annually in Golden Gate Park.
