Arman Arif, owner of the Fremont 98 Cent Store,
has been doing a booming business in flags, God Bless America T-shirts,
and Bin Laden WANTED shirts.
Arif came from northern Afghanistan 11 years ago.
He is a U.S. resident.


Khamosh Homayoun, owner of Pamir Food Market, waits for customers.
Homayoun, who left Afghanistan 20 years ago and is now a U.S. citizen,
says business has been very slow since September 11.
